KP & NOAH: THANKSGIVING
The Gohs were one of the first few families I photographed. I chose to make their portraits simple and timeless. I felt that it would mean a lot to them for the years to come. After all, there were doubts not too long ago as to whether Noah would survive the day.
See, he was diagnosed with leukemia at the age of four. It came like a thief in the night. Thereafter, the Gohs battled the disease unceasingly for three "long" years. KP never lost hope and continued to carry his family. Thankfully, Noah took positively to the treatment and is now well into remission.
